Coffee Crazy!

So after I tried the Coffee Face Scrub by Kaffe Cosmetics I was really excited to try the night cream as well!  I’m so glad I did!  This cream is awesome!

The first thing I noticed when I got it was the gorgeous packaging!  It all looks very high-end in a beautiful blue box.  The jar has gold accent on the lid and is a gorgeous dark brown.  When you open the jar you get the very subtle scent of coffee…so good!  It’s very creamy and soft.  It’s thick too!

This cream goes on so smooth and feels great on your skin.  It rubs in nicely and easily.  It made my skin feel so soft and nice.  I have noticed my skin appears brighter and the fine lines around my eyes have softened a bit.

I definitely recommend this product for anyone who is interested in taking care of their skin and wants a quality product.  It would make a wonderful birthday gift or mother’s day gift for your mom!

My only criticism is the use of Vitamin A in the ingredients.  This ingredient has a level 9 rating on ewg.org meaning it has a high level of toxicity, with the main concern being that it can accellerate the growth of skin cancer.  I’m not sure what the rating would be overall for this product…but that ingredient would effect it.

Overall this is a great product and I like the way it feels and makes my skin feel!  I’m looking forward to checking out some of their other products!  To purchase it you can go to www.kaffecosmetics.com

I did receive this item for a huge discount in exchange for this review.  I am not paid or rewarded for a good review though.  Everything that you’ve read here is my own honest, unbiased opinion based on my experience with the product.

Brighter Than A Thousand Suns!

Upon receiving this flashlight, I didn’t expect too much. I mean, how much performance can come from such a small, lightweight flashlight? A lot! Not sure how to measure that, but trust me. A LOT of performance!

From the included rechargeable battery pack, to the tiny CREE LED light chip, this thing blazes brighter than a thousand Suns and will do so for hours!

It’s smaller, lighter and brighter than a certain “brand name” rechargeable LED light that I have. That light sells for about $120 and only lasts a few hours per charge! That’s performance!

I charged this light fully, installed the battery pack and turned it on. After checking it about every 30 minutes, I recorded over five hours at what appeared to be full-brightness. Then the light started to dim, but still held up bright enough to still be considered bright for another two and a half hours!

The charger uses an LED indicator light to alert you that your battery is charging (red) and when it is finished (green).
If your battery is on the charger (which it won’t be for long) and you still need light, you get a battery holder for three “AAA” batteries (not included). That was very kind of AYL to include. Thoughtful, as though this company actually cares whether or not you have the power of light! Awesome!

Have you ever used a “zoom-able” lens flashlight? This was my first. It’s very handy and I never thought of this as being a feature I’d want on a flashlight. With out twisting, the head of the light slides to increase or decrease the light beam! This thing goes from an intense, focused-beam to a very bright, broad flood light!

This flashlight is incredibly impressive and very well priced!

Infrared Boobies?

I have a friend who is about to have her first baby and I could NOT be more excited for her!  I’ve been slowly picking things up here and there that I think she might like, or that I think would be good for her and her little one.

The other day I came across this….an infrared nursing bra.  My first thought was…infrared??  What tha?  Have you ever even heard of that?  I sure hadn’t!  So I had to check it out!

The tag say that it helps to stimulate milk production and also helps to ease the pain of engorgement!  Wow!  Who even knew??  It looks great, comfy, and easy to use.  It’s also really soft!   So of course I picked it up and this other one too!

The seamless nursing bra is just what it says…a bra that doesn’t show any seams through your shirt.  It’s my favorite of the two actually because it looks and feels really expensive and I think it’s also going to be super comfy.  It’s also really soft!

I can’t wait for her to have this baby so I can snuggle and cuddle and hug on a little bundle of joy again….and then when he/she poops, cries, or anything gross I can hand him right back!  LOL!

I received this seat cushion from ChiroDoc USA who was nice enough to send this wonderful item as a sample to test and review.

This thing is better than I expected. I put it to the test while I was decorating four dozen cookies. This is the first time in years that I didn’t suffer from near-crippling back pain after sitting for several hours. I am in love with a pillow!

This ChiroDoc orthopedic cushion will be the most used pillow in my house (and car)! I am also pleased to see that this pillow has a machine washable cover. Just unzip, remove the memory foam cushion, zip the cover back up and toss the breathable mesh cover into the laundry. No fuss!

Best of all, this cushion cover is designed to breathe and keep your bum cool while in use. This is a big plus in Texas because our summers here are approximately 11 months long. Hot, hotter and then hot again! So it’s nice to have this pillow that will help circulate air for somekind of tush-ventilation.

Time will of course tell, but so far I am very pleased with this ChiroDoc cushion.

No Jersey, No Service

What the hell Boa Sportswear?!?!

I had this awesome bike jersey on the way for my awesome hubby. The Chinese Post tracking number showed that it was delivered to an address in Novato, California. Problem is that I live in Texas.

No big deal, I sent message after message to the seller. Not sure why, but I never received a response from any of the five messages. Not very good customer service.

I looked on Amazon and saw that this particular jersey was “currently unavailable” and they didn’t know when it would be in stock.

So I guess no smiley face bike jersey. I hope whomever signed for the jersey enjoys it.

No Leaky Lunches

So I know I said No More Plastic….but it just didn’t work.  It does as long as there’s nothing leaky in their lunch…but If I pack fruit, or sauces for veg…the typical metal box leaks.

IMG_2592[1]

So I got these BPA Free, 3 compartment bento Boxes.  What I really like about these is that they are HUGE!  My kids are big eaters.  By time lunch comes around at school they’re ravenous and want to have a nice lunch.  You can definitely fit a sandwich, lots of fruit, veggies, sauces…whatever in this!  The compartments are big.  What I really also love about it is that it seals fully and there are no leaks at all!  I like that I could send soup and crackers and the crackers would stay crunchy and dry and not get all soggy!

I tested the seals with colored water.  I filled each compartment with a different color water and then attached the lid and shook it!  There was no mixing between compartments and there was no leaking at all!

My only criticism of this box is that the tabs that you push down to close or pull up to open are pretty hard to do.  I’m sure this is why it is so good at not leaking, but my 9yo had a little trouble getting them open and closed.  I’m okay with that in this situation though for the benefit of the leaks.  He’ll have a teacher at school who can help him open his box!

Here is an amazing Go Pro Accessories kit that includes literally everything but the kitchen sink! I totally feel like Ariel and I could break into song at any moment singing about my whosits and whatsits galore! You want thingamabobs… I’ve got 20!

This rugged-ass case has more baubles and bolt-ons than anyone can possible use in a life-time, but I plan to put every single doohickey to use at some point. Maybe.

Anyway, Just thought I’d share!
